Join together with Niagara Wheatfield faculty, staff, family, and friends for the innaugural Health & Wellness Virtual Run-Walk. The event is open to the general public and encourages participants get out and run/walk either 1 mile or 5K on their own following social distancing guidelines established for your safety.
Participation is as easy as 1-2-3! First, register online by May 15, 2021. Second, get out and complete your run/walk. And finally, for those of you completing the 1 mile and 5K run, you can upload your finish time and photos (optional) by the end of May. Participants of the hiking challenge can share stories and photos using the Google form link below.
This is a fully virtual event so you get to choose when and where you would like to run/walk. We encourage you to download the FREE IYR Mobile App on your Smartphone or Android. The app will keep track of your distance, let you know when you are finished, create a map of your route, and even ask if you want your results and photos uploaded to the event page! You can also manually upload your finish time directly to the results page during the designated time period.
All participants will receive a complimentary Niagara Wheatfield Health and Wellness shirt with their paid entry. During the registration process you will be asked to select the school where you work, attend, or where your child attends. T-shirts will be delivered to each building at the conclusion of the event for distribution. Participants from outside of the Niagara Wheatfield School community will have the option to pay a small fee and the shirt will be mailed.
